As our founders’ first business venture on the Central Coast, CA, the Marshall’s Jewelers building at the intersection of Higuera and Garden Streets in downtown San Luis Obispo holds a special place in our hearts. In the 1970s, Steve Puglisi partnered with his friend and Cal Poly Art Instructor, Richard Yaco, on the completion of the commercial building. Together they developed this Spanish-influenced icon, now considered a historic piece of the fabric of downtown San Luis Obispo. Directly across Higuera Street you can also catch Steve’s Moorish redesign of the Network Mall.
