The Kessel Residence was a vacation rental for over 20 years prior to our drastic remodel. With an unbeatable location in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood, it was time to modernize the look and feel of the home. Our redesign of the home’s facade brought rich colors and textures that accentuated the updated California seaside design. We added an updated staircase and railing, a swooping overhang to protect the panoramic windows from the sun, and an extensive Ipe deck to maximize enjoyment of the ocean views. We also added new fold back doors to bring the sweeping ocean views into the house.
